Annelise (Edition 1938)

Every child loves playing farm! Especially when the stable and the meadows are filled with all these colorful and cute, proud and cheeky animals. Here the rabbit hops, there the chicken cackles and in the middle of it the cow is mooing. Wonderful, country life!

All farm animals are handcrafted in the Swiss Alps. Made from certified FSC linden wood from sustainable Swiss sources and with colors that are completely safe for children. The animalsare made extra robust, so that they are not only suitable as a nice decoration, but also for children to play with.

In 1938, Alfred Trauffer, the grandfather of the current owner of Trauffer Holzspielwaren, founded his company with such artistic craftsmanship. The “Edition 1938” and “Pro Specie Rara” collections are still carved by hand in this extremely elaborate and artistic way.
